Tsawwassen Springs Fitness

Studies have shown that physical activity has beneficial effects on several physiological systems associated with COVID-19 and can also benefit immune health, metabolic health, and mental health. Evidence over the past year has found associations between physical inactivity and other lifestyle factors and odds of severe COVID-19.

Specifically, there’s a link between physical activity and COVID-19 outcomes. Early in the pandemic, researchers in the U.K. found unhealthy lifestyles, including physical inactivity, elevated the risk of COVID-19 hospitalization. Another study at the Henry Ford Health System found that odds of hospitalization from COVID-19 were over three times higher among people with the lowest compared to the highest peak exercise capacity.

Tsawwassen Springs Fitness is committed to your safety and we are here for you.  We take pride in our facility and have gone the extra mile to ensure your safety.  With plexiglass barriers, hourly cleaning, state of the art disinfectants and following COVID protocol we are confident you will feel comfortable with us.
We encourage you to come and visit us.  Please call us at 604-948-1101 or check us out at tsawwassenspringsfitness.ca

We look forward to meeting you.

TWC Pilates

We give you our best so you can give life your best.

In only four sessions, you’ll move better, feel better, and look better. JumpStart your way to a happier and healthier you today.

“If you aren’t assessing, then you’re guessing.” – Linda Mallard, TWC Pilates

All new clients begin with our JumpStart™ Program, where we’ll pair you with one of our expert instructors and schedule you four one-on-one sessions over two weeks. These sessions are highly personalized and will help us get to know one another. To provide you with the best fitness plan moving forward, we need to find out where you stand today, so your first session will include an assessment, where we’ll do a posture, function, pain, and body composition evaluation. We will also assess your abilities and discuss your needs, health concerns, and fitness goals.

Our JumpStart™ Program is a powerful process and helps both you and your instructor discover the best path to achieving your health and fitness goals. Three of your sessions will focus on Pilates, the mind-body exercise that centers on positive movement to strengthen and tone your body. One session will introduce you to the fundamental movements of CoreAlign, the integrated, whole-body workout that improves posture, balance, and gait. Whether you’re here looking for a new fitness regime or rehab after an injury, we’ll carefully monitor your progress during each of your sessions to find what approach works best for you.

By the end of your fourth session, you’ll know if Pilates is right for you and which of our programs best fits your immediate needs and long-term goals. You’ll also receive a report with your assessment results, which will include a posture analysis and your body composition breakdown (if appropriate, we encourage you to share your report with the other practitioners involved in your care). If you decide we’re a good fit, we’ll advise you on how best to continue with us. Personalized attention is the common thread running through all our programs. So, whether you move into a small group class or continue with our private, one-on-one sessions, you’ll find the same individual care and attention in whichever program you choose.

Your JumpStart™ Package includes:

  • A posture, function, pain, and body composition assessment
  • Three private Pilates sessions
  • One private CoreAlign session

Sign up today for only $239 (a savings of $101).

GOLF COURSE & DRIVING RANGE CLOSED FOR AERATION | MARCH 29-31

Tsawwassen Springs will be aerating.  We will be closing Monday March 29th and re-opening Thursday April 1st at 10am.

The word aeration stimulates negative emotions for many golfers. It may come as a surprise, but golf course superintendents also dislike aeration. After all, the last person who wants to disrupt the smoothness of the putting greens they work so hard to maintain is the superintendent.  Golfers often ask, “Why is aeration needed?” Aeration is an essential program to keep playing surfaces healthy and in good condition. Aeration primarily is performed to control organic matter – i.e., decaying roots and grass stems – relieve soil compaction, stimulate root growth and improve drainage. If organic matter becomes too thick, it acts like a sponge and holds water at the surface after rain or irrigation. Excessive organic matter also inhibits root growth, reduces oxygen levels in the soil, encourages disease and eventually can lead to turf failure. Furthermore, excessive organic matter creates soft surfaces prone to ball marks, foot printing and inconsistent playing conditions. Aeration and topdressing are the most effective ways to control organic matter and maintain smooth, firm putting surfaces.

All that being said we hope that you understand this necessary measure, we will be providing the following rates until the greens are back up to our standards (usually 10 days).
April 1st- April 11th | Weekday $35 & Weekend $40
April 13th back to Spring rates until April 30th
